About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Four Seasons Serengeti. This role requires passion, leadership, and a strong background in luxury hospitality and food operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee training, development, and evaluation of kitchen staff.
- Assist in menu planning and ensure consistent food presentation.
- Manage costs through scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed.
- Lead by example during busy hours and support all kitchen operations.
- Participate in recruitment, feedback, and team development.
Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts or hospitality management (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in culinary leadership positions.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Familiar with luxury standards, kitchen systems, and safety regulations.
