DevOps Support Specialist at NBC – July 2025

NBC is currently hiring a highly skilled DevOps Support Specialist to join its dynamic technology team. This full-time position is ideal for professionals passionate about modern CI/CD practices, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and secure software delivery pipelines.
- Ensure stable, secure, and compliant deployment operations across OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Linux.
- Collaborate with developers, integration specialists, and support teams for seamless code releases.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and incident resolution processes.
- Manage DevOps tools like GitLab, IDEs, Portainer, and OCP4.
- Create deployment documentation and coordinate release strategies.
- Engage with internal support forums, vendors, and ensure adherence to policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain infrastructure inventory using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK stacks.
- Monitor SLAs, performance metrics, and incident timelines.
- Design resilient and scalable architecture for production and DR environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and enforce secure DevOps practices with SonarQube.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for modern frameworks across containers.
- Deploy apps to App Store & Play Store ensuring signing/versioning.
- Use blue/green and canary deployments for zero-downtime strategies.
- Write and maintain incident response playbooks and runbooks.
- Handle secrets securely using Vault, Sealed Secrets, etc.
- Promote DevOps culture through internal bootcamps and documentation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Prior DevOps or infrastructure experience is required.
