Job Summary
As Manager of the Mbezi Chini Service Centre, you will oversee all aspects of service delivery, operational efficiency, team leadership, customer experience, and compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the branch meets its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Management (20%)
- Assign and monitor team tasks to achieve operational targets.
- Benchmark and improve departmental productivity.
- Contribute to long-term strategic plans for the service centre.
2. People Management (30%)
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate team performance.
- Develop talent, succession plans, and staff recruitment strategies.
- Oversee training needs, leave planning, and overtime control.
- Conduct interviews and manage disciplinary procedures if needed.
3. Controls & Compliance (15%)
- Ensure implementation of all operational processes and branch procedures.
- Adhere to KYC/AML policies and business continuity protocols.
- Manage audits, safety, security, cash controls, and ATM operations.
4. Sales & Target Achievement (20%)
- Drive branch performance through strategic planning and team alignment.
- Develop new customer relationships and cross-sell NBC products.
5. Community Engagement (10%)
- Strengthen NBC’s brand visibility through local community partnerships and events.
6. Personal Development (5%)
- Stay up to date with bank policies, trainings, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Banking, or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership or banking operations role.
- Strong commercial mindset and excellent communication skills.
